What to include in an inquiry

The fastest inquiry is a list of part numbers. OE numbers, VKBA-format kit numbers, DAC and HB series codes and UC/UCF codes are all read directly, and quantities per number let the quotation come back line by line against your list.

If a number is incomplete — a hub unit with the ABS sensor lead cut, a kit box with no label — describe the vehicle application and the generation of unit fitted. The cross-reference guide explains how partial references are worked back to a catalogue entry.

How the reply comes back

Every line of an inquiry is answered in one of three ways: matched and priced, matched with a question that settles a variant (a generation, a form, a kit packing), or flagged as unmatched with the detail that would settle it. Nothing is silently dropped and nothing is guessed. The quotation is confirmed in writing before any payment is arranged, and it repeats the stated terms — shipment port and payment method — so the terms agreed at inquiry are the terms on the invoice.

If the reply has not arrived when expected, resend the list rather than a summary of it: the list itself is what the desk works from, and a resent list re-enters the matching queue exactly where the original left off.
